Okay, it's been a while. I've redesigned the site again, hoping to make it easier to update it. First phase was redesigning the site, second phase will be to add updates, mainly in the Tamiya- and Mini-Z sections. I'll be doing lots of tests and corrections over the next few days, so if something isn't in perfect order just yet - bear with me.

It's been a while (again) since the last update. Main reason for this is that I became a dad last saturday (23/02/2008). Our beautiful son is called Casper, and will be given a transmitter as soon as he can hold one :)
I managed to create one more page: Hummer H2 body for Mini-Z.
Other stuff I'm working on, that will be finished - someday: I plan to build a reasonable true to scale crawler based on a TLT-1 chassis. I'm gathering parts for this project and will start it when I have everything. I'm just not sure if I should buy a new TLT kit or take apart my 8x8x8 truck to salvage one... Still needs some serious thought... Progress will be posted here, when there is anything to report ;)

Too little updates in too much time... So now finally, I'm back ;)
The main reason I have not been updating the page is... Time, obviously, and lack thereof. But now, I have incorporated a bit of PHP into my purely HTML pages. This will allow me to update my pages more easily and have an update take less time, thus increasing the frequency of the updates. One of the things I've been doing for over a year is play wow. Just know that I've moved on: wow was taking up too much of my time, so I quit it. It's a great game though, with a very high rate of interaction - but it's a bit too addictive :) . So enough talking and on with the updates...
I acquired a lot of Mini-Z bodies. To keep things a bit manageable I decided to make a body-overview page, more or less like the Tamiya bodies page.
I also bought some new 1:10 cars:

Oh my... 3 months without updates? Can it be? I have been busy, but I've been doing other things that updating homepages. I've changed hosting firms, for starters. I was very pleased with the former one, but the price was 4 times what I pay now. So I just had to change. I believe everything has been moved correctly, but if there's something I'm missing (a broken link, missing picture, ... ) please let me know!
One other (major) reason I haven't updated is that I discovered a new game - and I'm sort of addicted. The game is called World Of Warcraft. Hopefully, I'll make a section about this as well. Another game I've been looking forward to for years is Supreme Commander (the new Total Annihilation) so I will be playing that one as well. Oh yeah, and I bought a new PC, specs and probably pics coming soon. Let's just say I won't have to worry about playing any games the next year or so...
RC-wise I have mainly been driving my Mini-Z cars, but the Tamiya season has started as well. I have also bought loads of Mini-Z bodies, sort of starting a collection. More pics coming...

After spending a nice relaxing week at the seaside, I can get back to updating my page. And what an update it is...
I have added 2 new pages: one for the Ferrari F430 (TA05) I bought, and one for the Ford F350 High-Lift 3 speed truck I have pre-ordered, and which will be added soon.
Because of this, I have also updated all tamiya pages (made the links more logical) and all other pages have been expanded by some of my favorites. The Sitemap and Bodies-page were also expanded.

There's a new 'news'-entry - so there's bound to be something new here. I could just leave it up to you to find it, but I suppose I might as well give you a hint. I updated some pages concerning GT1 cars: I got me a Toyota GT-One, and finished my Audi R8R body and chassis. I also decided I wanted to call my TB02R a real racecar, and now with the 2007 Tamiya Euro Cup regulations - I can! Last but not least: I bought a Spektrum RC set (Module and receiver): the module can be seen among the rest of the gear, the receiver is listed with my TB02R.

Okay, another update. I added another Mini-Z car: the Batmobile! I picked this up at a very reasonable BIN price, and it looks pretty cool. Goes well with my Back To The Future Delorean.
I also made a drift car, based on my TB02R. I don't know if it's any fun yet, but I'll find out pretty soon.
My Touareg arrived as well, but I haven't gotten around to building it yet... It will happen... Someday...
Stuff I have around, waiting to be dealt with: Trailer, Touareg, XR311, Clod Buster, Audi R8R, Juggernaut, F201, Thundershot, and dragster. I've got my work cut out! I also need to update my catalogue listing and do some regular maintenance on just about all of my cars.

It occured to me that all I type here is small bit of text, to tie together my links. So this time, I decided to make it more text, including links.
So what's new? I added a couple of pages. I decided I will collect the F103LM based cars, I have 2 out of 3 already, the third one is in the mail. The Porsche 911 GT1 LM was posted earlier, now I can add the F103LM TRF chassis, which will be using the Audi R8R body set. The last one is the Toyota GT-One, for which I already included a section.
Some time ago I bought the Suzuki Swift, which I did not build right away. Now I finally had some time to spare, so I built it. It's a cute little car, and I intend to race it within ... time ;).
I added a telemetry system to my new dragster project, and it indicated a possible top speed of 166 KPH - which is impossible, ofcourse. (free-running) Will need to test it to get accurate results - updates will be posted as well!
Because I added 2 new bodies, I decided to update the Tamiya Bodies section as well. Since I added some pages, the sitemap was expanded a little.
That's all for now, but stay tuned, next on the list is the final restore of my Juggernaut and completion of my 100+kph car.

Thanks to a tip from Raptor, I found a decent new forumhost, and created a new forum. This time it's hosted by an external company, called Invision, so there's no risk of it getting hacked because of my negligence... Sure, it has ads, but at least they're not popups - an they only annoy moderately, you can just scroll down and they're gone ;) - Enjoy!

Where do I start? Due to lots of work on the house, I had very little time to do anything else - so nothing worth mentionning made it to my site. Hence the lack of updates - for 2 months!!!

Yes! I didn't think I'd make it, but I managed to find the time to add a small update in 2005! After more than 2 months of not-updating, I thought i just had to add something. I went to see The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy today, and I loved it. I'm still working on the house - which takes up a lot of time. I still haven't finished SA yet, as long as I haven't done that, there will be no mods.
I added a page about my newly elaborated hobby, and added two movies (1 - 2) about a fun-event in Belgium, which made me get back into competition... Also added a section for one of the cars I own and hadn't added yet: the LunchBox! (When they're done and I have time, I plan to add my F2001, thunder shot, and expand the clod buster pics... Patience... ) That's it for now, more to come when I have the time. Hope that doesn't take another 2 months...

I finally bought my own digicam. I'm just fooling around with it for now, but soon I will be able to post lots and lots of pictures - and movies. Some stats: I got about 138.000 hits on this page. I get a steady 600-ish hits per day, which is not bad for a hobby-page such as mine. After not being allowed to host large files, I don't generate a lot of traffic anymore, so that's not worth mentionning. My entire site - including everything I host myself - is now 216.39MB. My largest page is this one with 54.424 KB. This, of course, does not include pictures and such. The largest one including pictures - the largest one you could click on - is this one.

Something funny happened (well, not quite). The very reason I chose this host was because of the unlimited traffic. Now I got a complaint that I was hosting files, which is apparently not allowed. I was 'overloading' the servers... So, from now on, there will be no more hosting of large files - at this host. Luckily, my mod has plenty of mirrors... ;)

You won't believe how much has changed. Where to begin?
Okay, first off, I finally got some decent hosting. This means a couple of things: You can surf to www.killerkip.be and actually get somewhere (here). Also, my hostingproblem should be solved now. I changed everything to link local files, and removed the original files. I placed redirectors on my old webspace, so you automatically end up here.
When uploading the site to the new space, I also did sort of a check on just about every page. If you still find something that doesn't seem right (my head excluded), please mail me, so I can solve it.
I continued modding, and have a very exciting sub-project in the making. Can't say too much about it just yet, but it will do a few things: increase the mod size, and change the game even more dramatically.
What else? I took the multipart download for the gta3mod down, and re-issued the one-part download, which should make installing the mod a lot easier. I corrected mistakes in layout and pic-sizes, and updated whatever I could with limited time.
I fixed the RC-baron download link, which - I only now found out - has never worked.
I should also be able to post a lot of new juggernaut pics in the near future, so keep an eye on that. Even a new movie should be among the future new features.
With this hosting, I will try to give modders, who have REAL trouble hosting their mod, as I had for a short time, a chance. I will also try to publish newsletters, as soon as I find out how it all works. I may even consider continuing to mod, but I'm not sure about that.
Well, that's about it for now, when I have some more time, more stuff will change.

The mod is coming along nicely. I have decided that the cars I did NOT get explicit permission for, because I can't reach their creators, will still be used in the mod. Ofcourse, if a creator complains, I will remove the car at once.
I'm also working on a new hosting-idea, which will hopefully solve all my hosting problems in one go, and offer me virtually unlimited expansion capabilities. When I decide what to do, and I have tested the new hosting, I will publish the new mod. So it won't happen in March 2004 anymore, but still I'll do it pretty soon... I might even publish a mailing list, just for the fun of it ;)

I've started work on the final version of my mod. I hope to be able to replace every car, plane, boat, bike, and helicopter in this version. So it'll be a tough challenge, and take a lot of work. Expect the release no sooner than march or so. You can look at the progress here, and check out the complete carlist here. Hosting the mod will still be a problem in future, although I will make the final version a free-for-all (so everyone can host it). Hopefully lots of sites will take it on then.

It became painfully clear to me over the last few days how popular my mod still is. I had to change hosting recently, and 2 of my 3 hosts are over their limits already. I'm hoping the third one will hold up, because I never suspected I could have this much traffic. Anyways, 'mirror 1' should still work, for the time being. I uploaded a page I have been keeping kind of secret the last few weeks, because I did not need people mailing me asking for a release date. I'm slowly working on the last version of my VC mod. Now that hosting is no longer a problem (Got 3 hosts - Purely out of sympathy - Thanks guys!) I can release it. As I am working these days (I was student / unemployed before - hence the insane amount of time I could put into modding VC) I don't have a lot of time anymore, and progress will be made very, very slowly. Please bear with me, and check born2oc or gtaforums for a release date. It shouldn't be anytime soon. Link.

People kept asking me for the loadscreens of my VC mod, which I wasn't going to publish seperately. I decided I will do it anayway, and they can be found here.

I also released the final version of my PBR, with rotating emergency light, decent colfile, and some other minor changes.

I found the reason why so many people were sending me so many stupid questions: someone was illegally hosting my mod. So the users got the files, but not the support. Of course, not only the users were victms, but me aswell. Since I have asked them to take it offline, there hasn't been a single stupid question. Hoorah!
Furthermore I feel I'm using this news section too little, so it's time to type something here.
I'm getting tired of moddng GTA: VC, I need a vacation. So I have released V1.1 today for your enjoyment, and will mod again when I feel like it again. The mod's grown very large, and unfortunately you have to download the whole thing again. Sorry for this. But so many things have changed, I figured downloading a file of 30MB or one of 50MB wouldn't make such a big difference. It's definitely recommended to test it!

Managed to actually get some work done. I added some more cars, skins, and tried some new stuff. Made the VC-mod-howto and corrected some mistakes on my site.
Had a very interesting dialogue with a car-maker. He's gonna do something special for my mod. More details to come ;)
Worked on my casemod, of which I have no new pictures. Maybe later this week...

Vice City Mod: Added some more cars, got some more permission, and found a way to create an installerfile, thanks to Ruslev! This means the mod will be coming soon, I'd guess in about 3 weeks. Why in 3 weeks? I have a beta-test planned in 2 weeks, after that I'll have to do some more tweaking, and then the mod will be published. So the countdown begins ;)
I've got a lot of new cars, but still need to create a lot of new textures...

After passing my exams (Yeeeehaa!) I started working on my casemod. I had done a lot already, but since I really want to finish it now, I am going for the final push. So check out the added section under misc stuff, which is incomplete for the time being. The case will be finished around 10/10/2003, but since my parents are on a trip with the digicam, pics will only be taken at a later date. The page will be updated at an even later date, so don't expect too much (picture-wise) for the next month... Direct link.

Started working on my new layout. Lot of work. By the time you read this, the new layout is already online. So why am I typing this? Who knows.
I had a lot of remarks that frames are 'not done', so I changed from frames to tables with templates and all sorts of fancy words... Think it does look better, though...
I changed the width of just about every pic on the page. Also took out some bugs and cleaned up the source code. As I said, lots of work. If you find an error / mistake / whatever on this page, please drop me a line...
Some statistics: my page is 25.645.56 bytes large, counts 578 files, and has been viewed 8490 times so far. Not bad for a school project :p Note that this size is without the GTA3 mod and juggernaut movies, which are also well over 30MB large. Let's see what happens when the VC mod is published ...

I decided I will be modding GTA: Vice City. The only problem is: the tools. I still need a good installer program. The one I had for my GTA3 mod was brilliant, but doesn't work with VC. There's only one of those things available now, and it isn't as easy to use, neither for me, nor for the user. So I'm hoping LithJoe will make a VC-version of his brilliant installer.
As soon as I get a decent installer program, I will start publishing my mod...
